OVERDUE POST ABOUT SEC4 FAREWELL
it's been a long time since i blogged, but i do feel the need to blog about this lest i forget all about it.

sec4 farewell was a blast, and i do hope all the rgsquash seniors had a good time and liked what we planned for them.

sec4 farewell was held in this dingy bungalow which was, admittingly, big, but it looked and smelt like an old folks' home. the first thig i did was to take eileen's deodorant and conveniently rid the place of the odour clinging in the air.

after exploring the place and the beach (which was really smelly as well), we had to get ready for the arrival of the seniors and get the barbecue ready.

the lighter that we borrowed from the neighbouring bungalow was dysfunctional, so we had to IMPROVISE (thinker, leader, pioneer, remember?) and light the pit with fire from the stove. after many botched attempts, we finally managed to get the fire started. after fanning furiously at a pile of charcoal, the fire was finally decent and was good to go. a pity that took a long time and everyone was hungry.

we had loads and loads and loads of food, which tasted really really good, and everyone was fighting to be near the fire either to prove themselves useful (think: yujia) or to melt their marshmallows.

after the dinner, which took a long time, because squashers are big eaters (: the different batches presented their performances to the sec4s. the adorable sec1s did this tribal-like thing and danced around the sec4s. the sec1s are really cute lah, and random, haha :D

the sec2s had this gameshow which they took off zhou ri ba dian dang. between carol and joanne, one of them had to stand on ice and the other one had to pretend that she was, and the seniors would have to guess who really was standing on the ice. most, or was it all, of the sec4s got it wrong and had to stick their hand into this mystery box with weird items inside. candice screamed really really loudly when she touched hers, and it ended up as seaweed (or i think, at least)

us sec3s presented a medley of songs with altered lyrics to the seniors, accompanied with extremely spastic actions, which really took the cake. the seniors were touched okay! don't think i don't know, i bet they were trying hard not to cry! :D

after that, we presented our presents to the sec 4s, and ours was fantabulous, i have to say!

take a look at THAT! :D us sec 3s spent the whole of the previous day making those pretty shirts! :D

here's candice passing on the secretary's book to me! :D

(alright ok i look like shit)

i'll really miss the seniors! rarrrr!

the seniors too, gave the juniors their presents. and guess what i got.

YEO'S CHYSANTHEMUM TEA.

yilin thinks she's funny.

but! i love her all the same! :D
